Comparison of Dental Caries and Gingival Bleeding Status among Diabetic and Non-Diabetic Type 2 Children

Objective: To compare the dental caries and gingival bleeding status among diabetic non-diabetic type 2 children Design of Study: Cross sectional study Study Settings: The current was conducted in OPD Dentistry at CMH Lahore between months January 2021 June 2021. Material Methods: A total 400 aged 6–18 years enrolled research. Children with Type Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM) were included group, whereas without T2DM control group (non-diabetic group). Results Among subjects, there 191 (47.8%) males 209 (52.2%) females respectively 198 (49.5%) 202 (50.5%) respectively. Prevalence teeth Non-diabetic subjects found to be 87% (350) it 93% (371). Conclusion: According findings, diabetics more likely than non-diabetics have periodontal disease. There a high prevalence missing participants, which led an overall higher mean DMFT score.
